3. AWAKE: THE LIFE OF YOGANANDA
Awake is an award winning documentary which follows the life of the Guru Yagananda, who inspired many in the west with his teachings in the 1920’s. This movie is great, because it shows us that yoga is so much more than an asana practice. It is a practice for the mind, spirit and heart and you will enjoy listening to interviews with people who have been influenced by him, such a Deepak Chopra.
